It’s time to stop performing and start living.
This is where you come home to yourself.

Am I the Right Therapist for You?

My Story

I didn’t end up in this work because I had my shit together.

I ended up here because for a long time… I didn’t.

I know what it feels like to disappear inside relationships. To overgive. To perform. To confuse being needed with being loved. I know what it’s like to shrink yourself just to keep relationships. To silence parts of yourself because they make other people uncomfortable. To carry shame that was never yours to begin with.

I grew up carrying grief early. My father’s absence and death shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand until adulthood. Add, growing up as a Black queer woman in religious spaces that taught me parts of me were “too much,” “wrong,” or only acceptable if I stayed quiet enough, small enough, useful enough…and yeah, that does something to you.

For years, I lived from survival instead of self-trust.

I stayed in relationships that drained me.
I abandoned myself trying to be chosen.
I performed “strong” while quietly falling apart underneath it.
And like a lot of women I work with now, I became incredibly self-aware without actually feeling free.

That distinction matters.

Because insight alone doesn’t automatically change your life.

At some point, I got tired of knowing better without living better.

Tired of performing wellness.
Tired of shrinking for love.
Tired of acting like emotional exhaustion was just the price you pay for connections and relationships.

So I started doing the deeper work:
Learning to be myself outside survival mode.
Learning desire without shame.
Learning boundaries without guilt.
Learning that love should not require self-abandonment.

And honestly?
That changed everything.

Not in a polished “everything is perfect now” kind of way.
But in a real way.
A grounded way.
A liberated way.

That journey is what led me here.

Not because I think I have all the answers.
But because I know what it feels like to lose yourself trying to be loved, and I know what it takes to come back home to yourself, too.

That’s the work I do now.

I help women stop abandoning themselves in relationships, intimacy, dating, and life so they can finally build connections that feel honest, mutual, emotionally healthy, and free.

No performances.
No pretending.
No shrinking.

Just the real you.

“Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others.”
